Dr Samantha Gibson-Smith (MBBS, FRACGP, CertCH) studied medicine at the University of Tasmania and graduated with clinical distinction.

Dr Samantha is the clinical lead of the Derwent Valley Skin Cancer Clinic, completing the majority of skin cancer screening for patients in the Derwent Valley.  She is nearing the completion of postgraduate studies for a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) degree through the University of Queensland.

When Dr Gibson-Smith is not practicing medicine she enjoys hiking, running, cycling, and spending time at the beach with her partner and dog.
